Despite head coach Andy Reid’s denials last month and owner Jeffrey Lurie’s recent comments about the importance of character, the Eagles are bringing Michael Vick to Philadelphia.
Vick, the former Falcons quarterback and No. 1 overall pick who served a 23-month prison sentence for his role in a dog-fighting circuit, reportedly signed a two-year deal. The Eagles officially announced the signing just after 9 tonight.
Vick hasn’t played in the NFL since 2006 and had been suspended indefinitely until recently being reinstated by the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. It’s unclear whether the Eagles are bringing in Vick to back up quarterback Donovan McNabb or play a different role on the offense. Continue
Micheal Vick is a disgusting human being, and I cannot believe that he is being exalted like this. This man is a role model for the eagles children?!?!? Im horrified..

i think the people who have allowed michael vick to have a job,let alone play football have done an incredible disservice to society.an individual who tortures animals is an individual with mental illness.one of the first signs of being a sociopath is torturing animals.he must have enjoyed it or he wouldn't have done it.do you want your children cheering on someone who beats, burns ,drowns rapes ,and worse to dogs.think about it.is money so much more important than doing what's right once again.
