Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will be eligible to play in Week Three against the Kansas City Chiefs at home on Sept. 27, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said today in New York.
Goodell met with Eagles coach Andy Reid and Vick this morning for 50 minutes at the hotel where the eagles were staying in Newark. Goodell then talked to Vick advisor Tony Dungy for 45 minutes.
"He's demonstrating he's committed," Goodell said. "We're looking for a success story. At the end of the day it's a gut check."
Vick has done two appearances for the Humane Society. Goodell said, and expects Vick to do public service appearances in Philadelphia in the next 30 days. Continue
